The Taste of Kochi a.k.a Kayees Biriyani !

One and only answer to the question "What could be tagged as the Taste of Kochi? ". For it has won the likes of generations, and will keep doing the same. Yes, its about the Kayees Biriyani that this Gallan is talking about, undoubtedly. :)

There are quite a lot of eat-outs in Kochi that has a five star rating given by the Gallans, like the Pai Dosas and Rappai's Fast Food. But Kayees Biriyani should be the only one rated '10 on 10′ among those. When talking about Kayees, this Gallan needs to be specific. As to, which restaurant of theirs is being talked about. This time, its about the Kayees Hotel at Durbar Hall Ground Road.

The overall experience was very good. Was welcomed in by a young man, who also helped this Gallan to find a place of his liking. The orders were taken right away and was asked to wait for a short while. The aroma of the mutton biriyani that they bought for itself made this Gallan feel that the wait wasn't a waste.. Yummm… The biriyani was so tasty that, once after starting to eat it, this Gallan couldn't even realise that the waiter was still standing near to know if he had to bring hot water or cold one. Awesome tasty, mesmerizing aroma and an Exotic biriyani altogether!

Being bowled over by the taste of their first serving, this Gallan decide to try their chicken variant too. It was yet another praise deserving decision, and it doubled the joy, at an extra cost of Rs.95/-. And the mutton biriyani came for Rs.105/-. The yummy dates' pickle is a unique offering from Kayees. You gotta ask for it, if at all they din't serve it. And yeaah.. a bit costlier when compared with the other hotels in town. But again.. you won't get to eat the Kayees biriyani elsewhere.. :P

One can always find every kind of crowd at the Kayees. Be it family groups, gang of youngsters, aged couples (and young too ;)), business people, celebrities and every other kind of crowd category… Its the Kayees' ambiance that makes it possible. But make sure you reach there either after 11:30 AM and before 2:00 PM OR after 6:00 and before 10:00 in the evening, if you really don't wanna get disappointed. :)

The first Kayees Hotel was set up at New Road, Mattancherry, and its still there, beholding all the power and prestige. This place is, for sure, the ultimate. But the one that this Gallan spoke about isn't anywhere behind. Need to say that it may be a bit better than the Mattancherry one, with respect to the quality of biriyani rice used. Both the places are infact a must try. This Gallan recommends. :)

TEAM SENSATION is now fully loaded as a band and as a group to make people groove and dance.

TEAM SENSATION is the fruit of a long dream. As friends, DJ ArEz and DJ Jeff Netto started thinking about this from 2008. They could not proceed because of their studies. Then ArEz started remixing BOLLYWOOD numbers. His second Album, 'EVER GREEN @ TURNTABLE' came out to be a hit in he country and achieved a whooping 2000 plus downloads. That was the turning point. As a art of long search,DJ ArEz and DJ Jeff Netto Together made the group. And the name was suggested by 'SAMBAS KOCHI'. And that was the beginning. :)
